In the Directors Chair with Director Lauren Greenfield

Two-time DGA Award nominee Lauren Greenfield, co-founder of INSTITUTE, is “In The Director’s Chair” this time around. Greenfield made history in 2015 as the first solo woman director to be nominated for the DGA Award in the commercials category. Even before breaking that glass ceiling, Greenfield had a DGA Awards pedigree. Two years earlier she earned her first DGA Award nod for the feature documentary The Queen of Versailles–for which she also won the Best Documentary Director Award at the Sundance Film Festival. SHOOT editor Robert Goldrich interviewed Greenfield who reflected on her career, the industry, the newly minted INSTITUTE, and the importance of diversity and inclusion.
