This session provided a taste of the wide ranging content being created–and the underpinnings of that content–in advertising and entertainment as the lines between those two worlds continue to blur. Panelists with a guiding hand in content spanning different platforms, genres and disciplines included: Deb Archambault, executive producer, McCann New York; David Cullipher, creative technologist at production house The Devil You Know; John McKelvey, co-founder/executive creative director, JohnXHannes; David Rolfe, EVP, director of integrated production, BBDO New York; and Vico Sharabani, founder/creative director/director, The-Artery. Additionally, panelist Jeffrey A. Greenbaum, managing partner of law firm Frankfurt Kurnit Klein + Selz (FKKS), offered a perspective on the legal implications that arise when the coming together of advertising and entertainment yields new content forms. Discussion was moderated by SHOOT editor Robert Goldrich.
