Feature, TV, commercial and music video director Jake Schreier, who’s on the roster of Park Pictures, is “In The Director’s Chair” this time around. He is currently nominated for two Emmys on the strength of the Netflix hit Beef–for Outstanding Limited Series as an executive producer of the show; and for Outstanding Directing in a Limited Series for his direction of “The Great Fabricator” episode. Beef in all garnered a total of 13 Emmy nominations. Shreier also teamed with Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free to direct the Lamar short film We Cry Together which earlier this year won the Grand Prix for Film Craft at the Cannes Lions. Schreier directed the features Robot & Frank and Paper Towns, the former debuting at the Sundance Film Festival. His credits span assorted commercials and music videos (Justin Bieber, Haim, Benny Blanco, Chance the Rapper) as well as TV shows including the Michel Gondry-produced Kidding and the FX comedy series Dave. Schreier is also in prep on a Marvel feature, Thunderbolts.
